Project Assistant Director Lok Prasad Nepal confirmed that works relating to construction and equipment installment of the 70 MW project have been completed. "We are undergoing a series of tests before coming into operation. Currently, we are running tests on the reservoir by channeling water into it. " he said.
Mid Marsyandi Project started on 2001 with joint investment of Nepal Government and German Government- owned Development Ban KfW. It is second largest hydro project in Nepal.
